I love the lime green center of this orchid!  It contrasts the white petals with simple ease.  This orchid is 5 and a half inches long, including the greenery behind it.  Just shy of 2 inches tall and almost 4 inches across, this is not a huge hair flower, but it makes a big statement!

I used some new greenery behind this orchid that branches out a little.  The greenery is a few shades darker than the green on the flower, so it doesn’t over power the  flower.  I love the crisp white petals of the orchid and the bright yellow of the stamen.  If you like to wear your hair down this would be a great hair flower to clip your bangs to the side with.  Short hair would be complimented by this easy going  flower!  Enjoy!

The purple orchid hair flower is a stand out kinda gal!  If you like bold and bright this is the hair flower for you!  It is larger than most orchid hair flowers that I make, with broad petals and a huge center.  My purple orchid is 4 inches wide,  just a little over 3 inches long, and about 3 inches tall.

Coloring of this orchid is bright and beautiful.  The petals are a darker purple towards the center and lighten around the edges.   There is a faint green tip on 3 of the petals.  The center of my purple orchid is very realistic looking.   A deep purple bucket with yellow stamen and pale purple pieces make it very bold in contrast to the white at the center.  This hair flower can be dressed up with a fancy up do or just behind the ear.
