Whether you have a salon, a rockabilly shop, or a clothing store, these flowers will fit right in.  We don’t put any restrictions on MSRP, so you can sell them for whatever you feel they will bring in your area.  Once we gain more saturation there may be some limits on price so that local stores aren’t charging wildly different prices, but until then it’s completely up to you.

In order to secure wholesale prices, your order must be for at least 30 flowers.  We have a healthy supply of flowers on hand, so we can make, pack, and ship them in about a week.  Orders that are looking for a specific set of flowers may take longer, depending on what raw supplies we have on hand.

Pricing varies, but wholesale hair flower orders start at a flat price of $15 per flower.  It’s easy to see what we retail them for, but you can put whatever price you feel that you can get for them.  However, if you’re selling them for $50+ let us know so we can raise our prices!

Shipping prices are small.  Flowers are very lightweight, so it won’t affect the total price very much.

This white zinnia hair flower is large and in charge!  This is one of my personal favorites.

The flower is hand crafted from a high quality silk flower that has been deconstructed and reconstructed to lay properly in your hair.  It will stay secure in your hair with an alligator clip.  It measures a little bit under 5.5 inches across at it’s widest point, so short hair beware!

I had a hard time deciding whether to sell this flower or keep it for myself.  The white petals have a few that end in a magenta tip that give it a very realistic look.

Large white hair flowers like this would make great prom hair flowers, bridesmaid hair flowers, or for your everyday look.

This is a yellow zinnia hair flower that’s been handcrafted from a high quality silk flower, glue, and an alligator clip.  The flower is pretty big, measuring a bit under 5.5 inches at its widest point.  The petals of this are very realistic and move with the flower as if it’s the real thing.

With a big hair style, this yellow flower hair clip will be perfect.  It also looks great with a ponytail or pigtails.

This orange rose hair flower is another one of our roses that came from our “private collection.”  Originally, this flower wasn’t going to be for sale, but with the opening of this shop and our new site we decided to add some of these really special flowers to the collection.  The reason with was a part of our collection is the colors on the petals have a really cool gradient that fades the color to an greenish-yellow color at the tips of two of the petals.  The gradient makes for an extremely realistic hair flower.

The flower itself measures just under 5 inches at its widest and about 2.5 inches tall.  When measured with the leaves the entire hair piece is about 5.5 inches at its widest point.

Since this is a rose hair flower it’s extremely versatile.  Unlike some other types of flowers, roses go with any look.  If you’re looking for something that is bright, fun, and versatile this is the flower for you!

This red rose hair flower is one of a kind and handcrafted from a silk flower, glue, and an alligator clip.  The hair flower measures a bit under 5 inches across and 2.25 inches tall, the flower and the leaves measure 5.75 inches at their widest part.

Red rose hair flowers are the classic hair accessory that every wardrobe can’t be without.  This flower is pretty large and would look great with up-dos, rockabilly hairstyles, or any long-hair look.  The silk that is used on this flower is very high quality and sturdy.  The clip is secured to the back with glue, in a way that will keep it stuck to the flower for years to come.

First off, you don’t need to know anything about flowers.  You need to know what colors and shapes catch your eye.  These are usually the same things that jive with what your clothing choices are like.  If your style is bold, large and colorful flowers are a great match.  If you’re more laid back, there are some flowers that would act like an accent to your style.

A simple rule of thumb is the bigger the hairstyle, the bigger the hair flower.  Up dos can use much larger flowers, whereas a large flower would look like a hat if the hair is down and straight.  Rockabilly hairdos also work very well hair flowers.  With short and straight hair, smaller hair flowers work best.  Generally, I recommend that everyone have a medium and small sized flower on hand for daily wear, and buy the big ones for special styles and occasions.

Handcrafted flowers for hair are quickly becoming the must have fashion accessory.  As they have become more popular, more people have started making them themselves.  This is great, and Lucy’s Blooms would have never gotten its start if it hadn’t happened!  Making a hair flower isn’t a difficult task, but making one that will stand the test of time is.  There are many different factors that go into making a high-quality flower, and I want to share a few of them with you so that when you’re shopping for flowers for hair you know what to look for.

Lots of people will buy a silk flower, glue an alligator clip to it, and wear it out on the town.  This plan is great if you aren’t concerned about the hair flower lasting more than a month or how the flower works with your hair.

A great flower hair clip starts with the highest quality silk flowers.  Each crafter has her own methods of where to take it from there, but it will almost always be deconstructed and put back together in a way that will lay more flat than the flower originally started.  Some will use the leaves, others won’t, and the choice is up to you of whichever you prefer as there aren’t really any advantages either way.  Different types of glue have direct advantages with the different materials that go into a hair flower.  Some work great for the petals, but don’t work on leaves.  We’ve figured out a system that creates the strongest bond possible, while still remaining non-toxic.  We want you to at least to live as long as your hair flower does!

The best thing about a bridal hair flower is that the imagination is the only boundary.  When figuring out things like the guest list, the food, and the location there are a million different variables that can affect how they turn out.  With a hair flower, your vision can be created by an expert hair flower crafter and it will be as perfect as you want your day to be!

The most important thing to consider when shopping for hair flowers is the hairstyle you plan to wear it with, or what your hair is normally like.  A hair flower that looks great with one style can look awkward with another.  The things to watch out for is the width and profile of the flower.  Very large hair flowers (5-7 inches wide) can be worn with up-dos and “big” hairstyles, and will add more volume to the style.  If you were to wear flowers of this size with your hair down it would look like a hat!  A large hair flower with a low profile will look great as an accent to a big hairstyle, while a high profile flower would look like it’s competing with your hair for the focal point.

The same rules apply for small hair flowers.  Some of the smaller clips can be used in place bobby pins, but with longer hair or elaborate styling it can be lost in all of the hair.  Small flowers look great with short hair and pony tails.  Some of the smaller flowers that Lucy’s Blooms makes are directional, and work best when faced in a particular direction.  These flowers are designed to work with your hair to help style it and add a little bit of flair to simple looks.
