Lucy’s Blooms Hair Flowers started after I was tired of picking fresh flowers from my garden and having them die before the day was through.
A hair flower can range in complexity from a simple rose all the way up to an ornate decoration with feathers, jewels, and beads. When I see a silk flower, I see a blank canvas and can’t wait to figure out how to make it as beautiful as I possibly can. This has lead me to making flowers for proms, weddings, and every day wear. I even wore my own hair flower at my wedding and made one for each of my bridesmaids.

Each flower has hundreds of possible outcomes, and every time I see a girl with a flower in the hair I get excited with more ideas.
