This orchid is one of the first of my new line of hair flowers that dares to be bold.  A bright purple orchid sits atop two shimmering black fronds.  The outer pedal of the flower’s center is splashed with black that matches the dazzling fronds.  Three of the outer pedals are tipped in bright green to give it a very natural feel.  A black bow conceals the backside of the flower so that when you wear it with the fronds facing back the clip is hidden.

This flower would be spectacular for any special occasion.  It doesn’t even need a fancy hairstyle to shine!

From the longest frond it measures 7 1/2 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 2 1/2 inches tall.

While experimenting with flowers for myself, I wanted to create a design that included something long and exotic.  This came from those designs.  It has three long, slender, and sparkling black fronds coming from an orange orchid.  The outer pedals of the flower’s center are splashed with a matching black as the fronds.  One of the best things about these fronds is that they’re shaped to contour your hair since they curve with the shape of the head.

This flower is perfect for a special night out when you want to be sure that you look daring and beautiful.

With the fronds it measures 6 1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 2 1/4 inches tall.

Tropical, bright, and simple is a perfect way to describe this orchid.  Two brightly colored orange orchids with red centers sit upon two curled green leaves.  The outer tips of the inner pedals are splashed with black.

The perfect way to wear this flower is clipped right above either ear, close to the face.  When you want it to be Summer in Hawaii every day of the year, no matter where you live, clip this flower above your ear.

Classy and elegant style begins with this hair flower.  A sassy little black bow conceals the back of the flower and a part of the clip.  On the bottom of the flower you will find four bowed reeds that are hand dipped in sparkling green glitter.  There are also soft touches of pale green coming from the center of the flower.

This rockin’ hair flower screams for a wild night on the town.  It has gleaming green glitter laces all around the leaves.  The center of each of the orchids have four dazzling rhinestones.

If you’re a wild child looking for a flower that can keep up with you, this is the choice.  If you have short hair, this is the perfect look for you, or to pump up the volume on a plain pony tail.  Each of the two flowers are pointing outward so that it’s balanced in your hair.

At its widest it is just over 5 inches and 4 inches the other way. As for height, it sits about 2 1/2 inches tall.

I love the lime green center of this orchid!  It contrasts the white petals with simple ease.  This orchid is 5 and a half inches long, including the greenery behind it.  Just shy of 2 inches tall and almost 4 inches across, this is not a huge hair flower, but it makes a big statement!

I used some new greenery behind this orchid that branches out a little.  The greenery is a few shades darker than the green on the flower, so it doesn’t over power the  flower.  I love the crisp white petals of the orchid and the bright yellow of the stamen.  If you like to wear your hair down this would be a great hair flower to clip your bangs to the side with.  Short hair would be complimented by this easy going  flower!  Enjoy!

The purple orchid hair flower is a stand out kinda gal!  If you like bold and bright this is the hair flower for you!  It is larger than most orchid hair flowers that I make, with broad petals and a huge center.  My purple orchid is 4 inches wide,  just a little over 3 inches long, and about 3 inches tall.

Coloring of this orchid is bright and beautiful.  The petals are a darker purple towards the center and lighten around the edges.   There is a faint green tip on 3 of the petals.  The center of my purple orchid is very realistic looking.   A deep purple bucket with yellow stamen and pale purple pieces make it very bold in contrast to the white at the center.  This hair flower can be dressed up with a fancy up do or just behind the ear.

Orchids are becoming such a prized flower. So delicate and simple, but they are difficult to grow and maintain. What better way to keep this flower every day, than to make it a hair flower?! I love white orchids with just a burst of color at the center. This white orchid has a simple pink center with a few small black dots. I added some beautiful black and white feathers to the head band for a very simple background. This head band is very simple and sweet.

The headband is a 1 inch wide headband at it widest point. At the ends it tapers off to half an inch. It is a very comfortable head band, with black nylon fabric wrapped around for a very clean look. The orchid measures just over 4 inches at its widest point. Three black and white striped feathers sit up against the headband concealed by a leaf to hold them on. At the base of the orchid, I masked the end with a very tiny leaf. The head band wears best with the flower on the right side of the face, because it is positioned to sit forward in that direction.

I think this head band is a great combination of interesting flower, feathers, and leaves. It would make a great gift for a friend or for yourself!

If you’re looking for something that is both simple and classy this purple hair flower is it.  It’s a beautiful small purple flower with trimmed peacock feather accent.  The picture doesn’t show the peacock feathers true detail.  They shimmer blue and green in the light.

This flower is pretty small, so it would work great with short hair or for every day wear.  The flower itself only measures 3 inches across, and with the feathers it measures 4.5 inches at its longest point.

As with all Lucy’s Blooms hair flowers, this is handmade and one of a kind.  You aren’t going to see anyone else with the same hair flower because we don’t mass produce anything!  Snap this up before someone else does because when this sells it’s gone for good!
